
New Data Confirms Impact of Early Literacy High Dosage Tutoring
March 31, 2026MBAE is pleased to welcome our newest member, Adam Hogue. Adam is the founder of LearnScope, an evidence-based consulting firm that helps K–12 school districts strengthen strategy, operations, and decision-making.
Before founding LearnScope, he served as Senior Vice President of Strategy & Finance at BetterLesson, where he led teams supporting hundreds of school systems in improving teacher and leader effectiveness at scale, including partnerships with Teach For America, the Ohio Department of Education and Workforce, and District of Columbia Public Schools. Earlier in his career, he advised K–12 and workforce development leaders at the District Management Group and Deloitte Consulting on strategic planning, academic return-on-investment analysis, operating model and organizational design, and human capital strategy.
Adam joined MBAE because he shares the organization’s belief that strong public education is the foundation of a thriving Commonwealth. He is particularly interested in MBAE’s efforts to expand evidence-based practices in literacy instruction and to help young people navigate the transition to the workforce. The son of two public school educators from Ohio, he lives in Belmont with his wife and toddler.
