MBAE Chairman Rob Richardson will moderate a panel discussion from 8 to 10 a.m. 8:00 – 10:00 a.m. at Franklin W. Olin College of Engineering, Milas Hall, in Needham.

At this forum, MetroWest business leaders will discuss the importance of first-rate science and math education for the health of the Commonwealth's economy. State policymakers will discuss current statewide initiatives designed to advance student achievement and interest in math and science. The key questions to be addressed are: 1) What actions are needed to make certain that MetroWest students are prepared for success in math and science careers of the future? 2) How can educators and business leaders work together to improve professional development and spark classroom innovation so that students have access to expert teachers in math and science?
